Now it’s time for all of us to take that step. Not every gay character needs to be defined by his or her sexuality. Can’t being gay just be one stitch in the fabric of someone’s life? Can’t we depict men and women who just so happen to be gay – perhaps a lawyer or soldier or business executive or scientist or engineer…
We need to create an atmosphere that encourages people to speak up, so we get this right.

Going to a wedding expo in providence today!

So last night OutwardlyRecondite and I announced our engagement to the world, and here are the pictures of the ring! I officially proposed on June 1st but we’ve been waiting to tell everyone so we could tell our families first. This is a very exciting time in both our lives and I’m so happy to be able to share it with the most wonderful person I have ever known. The wedding is going to be in the Fall of 2014! 2 years away but that means plenty of time to save and plenty of time to plan.
